Some people, under the influence of a Tantrik Guru, thought that the Coronation Ceremony had gone wrong somewhere due to which the undesirable happennings had occured to Shivaji Maharaj (like his mother, Rajmata Jijabaisaheb, died just 12days after the coronation, his wife Kashibairanisaheb, also died,etc,etc. Moreover his council of ministers also became suspicious about this matter. So to settle all these matters & to satisfy his ministers & subjects, Shivaji Maharaj had himself coronated for the second time according to the 'Tantrik' rituals'.
