I believe that cybernetics methodology is simply linear causation with a feedback loop, which thus makes it circular causation. As to the cognitive process, that presently is a little above my head, but I do believe there is a feedback system here as well. I am a newbie to this material myself, perhaps someone else can jump in here and give us an adequate answer.
