I just acquired a Ruby Pistol (French Military marking "GB") today. I figured it would need a good cleaning as the person I bought it from was clueless about guns, but I figured out how to break it down...here it goes.

1. Lock the slide to the rear
2. as you are looking at the barrel (business end) rotate the barrel clockwise...when the barrel stops, pull the barrel towards you (out) and then rotate the barrel counter clockwise...you should then be able to remove the barrel.
3. With the barrel removed you can now release the slide and take the slide off.

This should be as far as it needs to come apart for cleaning (at least it's as far as I'm taking mine apart without learning a little more about it). Ohh and reassembly is the exact opposite of tearing it down..it's pretty easy.
