What is the half life of Furfural?
Are there any known food groups which assist in the retention of furfural in the body?
Ive got a case where after biological monitoring for furfural came back with levels which exceed the BEI. This employee only spends 20% of her time within the lab per day working with a solution which contains 20% furfural. All the other employees (who work within the lab up to 8 hours a day) had results which were well below the BEI.
The only difference is that she is a vegetarian.
She also takes Iron tablets - would this have an effect on the furfural levels in any way.
If anyone could help with the matter it would be greatly appreciated.
