What if a journal gets impact factor after a few months of publication of article.

If an author has submitted a research or review article for publication in a certain journal which does not have any impact factor at the time of submission of article (suppose a newly started journal) and the article got published successfully. (with no impact factor at that time)

But it gets the impact factor after an interval of 2-3 years or less. Does the published article will have the same impact factor as the journal have.
