What happened to the accounts of the children that contributed to the PSFS bank of Philadelphia. I know that the mellon bank bought them out, but how do i find out what happened to the savings i had as a child?

What happened to the accounts of the children that
contributed to the PSFS bank of Philadelphia. I know

Contact the bank with your name and account number, as well as the date you opened the account. If it's an old account be prepared to spend a lot of time getting your money back, as the records would have been kept the old-fashioned way and it may take some digging for bank employees to find them.
