What biblical basis supports the proposition that the rapture must occur on the 7,000 year anniversary of the start of the flood? I understand yr of flood, day is as 1,000 yrs, and seven days to get into the safety of the arc argument. This allegorical interpretation, taken by itself, seems to have some logical gaps. Assuming it is true that we have a figurative seven days to get into the safety of christ, why does the clock start ticking at the onset of the flood? Why not, for instance, with the resurection of Christ?
