Some of the reasons that Joan of Arcadia was feared or hated was because one she was a women. And womens were as low as one could be and they were practically there to keep the population going. Joan was feared because she was a woman warrior. She also was hated for that very reasons. Ounce she gained the trust of the French Prince though, the French followed behind her in every way.
