We have investment casting facility and we cast parts by using material AMS 5376 (N-155).Presently we cast 100% virgin material.
On experimental basis we cast by changing the composition of material[30% Revert material and 70% virgin material]& the the result of tensile strength and elongation was same as that of 100% virgin material casted parts.
Please suggest that can we use revert material 30% and virgin material 70% for casting?
What is the end product difference in properties if we use 100% virgin or with 30% revert and 70% virgin material casting.
