We have been unsuccessful in obtaining any information with regard to the Park's "beginnings" - such as why this landsite/location was chosen (we know was originally the Mullen Farm but there is no info online about why or how this land was obtained)

Also, would like information on how the fort and it's buildings were constructed (we know that it was designed to look like the original Fort Edmonton, but no mention is made of the actual construction of the replica - what types of logs were used, where did they come from, "who" built it and what methods used!!)

Would you be able to advise where we can obtain some of this and any other pertinent information? We arein a bit of panic at this stage as her report is due shortly!
