We have a problem with bowing on our thermoforming process this causes slower cycle times as the only way to reduce the bowing is to slow the line down. This bowing will be different from day to day. The material is PP (polypropolene)

There can be several reasons to cause bowing in the part. It could be part design, which is most likely. Is it thin-guage continuous thermoforming or roll fed or is it sheet fed? Heat style, cal-rod or ir? heated tool? Pressure form? Material type and size?

Thermoforming is a manufacturing process where a plastic sheet is heated to a pliable forming temperature, formed to a specific shape in a mold, and trimmed to create a usable product.
