We are constructing our home from earthbags but are not interested in "behive" architecture. While the home will have two round areas at the ends of the south face of the home... the bulk of the structure will be conventional "streight wall" design. This requires the use of buttresses. I have placed them strategically and will use them to create outdoor living areas off various rooms. My question is if anyone has ideas or experience in the best ways to incorporate (and build ) these elements into the earthbag construction?
