I have a four year old laminate floor which is defective. The manufacturer has denied my claim and states that it is not defevctive but that the damages are cause from the installation. I will argue that the installers are professionals who do this every day and that there are no problems with the install. My questions is, what route should I take? should I file through magistrate court in Houston County georgia, or hire an atty? any other advice?
The floor has a life time warranty for first owners. The first owner was the builder, so I am not the first owner. will that preclude me from recovery?
