Asiatic Lion or Indian Lion which where found only in Gir forest of India. Along with Asiatic Lion the other members in the forest are CHETHAL (spotted dear),NILGAI (blue bull),SAMBAR,FOUR- HORNED ANTELOPE, WILD BOAR,WATER BUFFALO, are the main herbivores which lives in the Gir. so we expect that the these are the main source of food for the Indian Lion.
