I recentley attended an Auction in the South of England, one of the items in the Auction was a book. This large book contained a Letter from Gosforth County Council in 1923 was to invite the Prince of Wales (Edward 8th) to open the new Rugby Club. The book also contains many photo's of the Council and Prince Edward. There is also a letter from the Prince thanking Gosport for the invite, and also mentions Gosforth winning the Rugby Cup at Crystal Palace. All items dated 1923, any interest for purchase towards the Heritage of Gosforth??
