Human civilization demands from us to live above animal level, hence, we should discuss how to make best use of our time to contribute towards our own intellectual elevation, to betterment of our family, for prosperity of our own people and people of the world at large.

Data in developing countries even available is usually unreliable due to obsolete data collecting organizations. Staff in not properly equipped and is paid poorly. Even they do not have proper offices and funds for maintenance. So statistics divisions must be modernized including with use of ICT, staffed with forward looking research oriented work force with market salaries.
To analyze economic structure of these countries data from available economic surveys, statistics organization and reports of central banks could be used with historical figures. But informal sector, undocumented sector, black market component, agriculture sector, services sector particularly relating to commercial activity must be observed properly. Agriculture work force and workers of slums including street vendors make largest component of informal sector and these workers and the their way of life, although they provide cheap labour, cheap services and cheap goods, are bane for the future development of society. Unless this work force is not released and engaged in some meaningful jobs particularly in services sector, their way of life will not change and overall poverty of all kinds will not decrease.
