I had this problem and by the grace of GOD I found someone who knew their old massey ferguson 35 tractor stuff. If you have a problem with the three point hitch not wanting to lift after you have run the tractor for some time and gotten the fluid hot. Simple cure or at least it worked for me. I had my tractor worked on at a dealship. They put the wrong fluid in the transmission. I didn't know this at first. My old mechanic suggested they probably put "todays" modern fliud in the tractor not knowing better. He suggested draining the transmission fluid and let it drip over night if time premits. Replace the fluid with a minerial oil base. I used NAPA minerial gear oil SAE90. Cured the problem lifts every time, all the time Praise the LORD!!!
