I recently discovered a place at the side of hiway 12, just east of Rogers, Arkansas, which I was told was a stop on a stagecoach trail. It's called three springs. It's a man made structure of stacked natural stones. The structure contains 3 square openings, each with a bowl-shaped stone at their opening. Anybody have any information that might link this to the Butterfield trail?
