I received this album for Christmas 1976 from my un-cool uncle.I loved this album then and I still do. Maybe Im not enough of a snob or as it was once suggested to me not a " Real deadhead " although with 36 shows under my belt I dont think Ive got much to prove. I know that many of the performances are not the greatest, but many of the songs like Promised Land and Stella Blue get their best sounding and cleanest work outs. I dont care if they were dubbed, reworked or overdone. Is music not like beauty in that it is in the eye or ear of the beholder? Nobody I know ever bitches about the overdubbing on Europe 72. I enjoy this record for what it is, and I wish you would all try to do the same.
