Thinking of moving to Ferndale

We fine Ferndale a town we could live in very nicely.

We moved away about ten years ago from Humboldt county but I miss "home." My husband is very social. Would there be much for him to do? He golfs, goes to Rotary, has coffee every morning with "they guys." Would this work there?
