There is an event in St. Stephen that I am to establish as to whether it happened or not. In the War of 1812 on July 4th the British occupied Canada loaned gunpowder to the Americans so they could celebrate July 4th. I am trying to find out whether there is any primary evidence to support this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
