Looking around at different websites and some discussion groups I've seen references to the Ramong Sound. I knew that the Foundations had evolved out of the Ramong Sound and that there were 2 lead singers at the time.

I first heard or rather read it discussed here,

A bit of searching online turned this much up, shown below.
