The cluster which lights up my speedometer, my odometer, and gear shift positions is just erratic. During the day, I can't see my odometer or gear shift position, especially when the sun is out. There is a shroud over these instruments that keeps them continually in the shade. Even the speedometer is sometimes a little difficult to read.
Is there anyway I can get the whole cluster to come on and stay on whenever I turn on the key?

AT night the lights on the speedometer come on so I can see my speed, but only rarely do the lights for the gear shift positions and odometer come on.
