There seems to be considerable confusion about the Meaning or Relation of the word Gorakh, after which a hill Station is being Developed in the Sindh Segment of Kirtahr Mountains.

According to its Sanskritik roots, the word, Gorakh in the applied of Spoken's Convention, means Flockers; meaning, goat-herds or shepherds etc. Thus, same, as the derivates of of the word GUJJAR, cow herd, shepherd, viz. cities named Gujranwala or Gujrat.

It is all the more plausible, because cattle are the mainstay of this region's economy, and people bring over their herds to this area for summer grazing.
