I loved the book, but some of the loose ends were not tied up. We never got the official okay that Mr. Griffin was David's old man. We never knew. I would have liked to know the reason he left David's family. Has anyone noticed that Griffin left David's family when he was about to be born, then he "left" (died) when his other wife was about to have a baby? Hmmm? I wonder if someone was controlling him on a string? Maybe he got in over his head with some illegal business or something, and jumped ship before he was caught on the wrong side of the fence. Maybe he just couldn't take the pressure the first time around? I don't know but I wish that I did.

Yeah, I agree. I kinda got the jist when the ring was on his finger, but I wonder why he left David and his mother in the fist place...and if he was planning on doing that to Kathy? I thought that he was a nice guy, but that kinda placed a seed of doubt in my mind.

OOO! Another question, I just thought of this one...I wonder if Mr. Griffin even knew that David was his son? He must have known! I wonder why he decided to live so close to him, and if David's mother would have reconised him if she had seen him?

Plastic surgery and a background switch was at work here most definitally. He probably left the ring with him so that he would be reminded. Then he moved so close so that he could see how his boy grew up.

But if he cared so much for his son (enough to get plastic surgery and whatnot) then why did he leave in the first place?

Hmmm? I don't know. There are so many things that I can't understand about how people act. Maybe I will go see a socialigist and ask them.
