There are supporters of Intelligent design who are, like myself, atheists. The attraction to the ID thesis is based on the recognition that all biological systems function and develop in such a way that shows they not only recognize their imperatives but are able to bring about the necessary adaptive responses to those imperatives. It is the organism that is perhaps the designer!

Intelligent design, in all reality is not even worthy of comment. It is ill conceived, very poorly executed. Read Richard Dawkins book
