There are so many female Greville family members that have such interesting social histories.
Daisy Greville,Countess of Warwick was just one of the females who could turn the heads of the finest men in Europe.Others just as popular included Margaret Greville the daughter of William McEwan who married The Right Hon Ronald Greville of Polesdon Lacey,she became one of the finest Hostesses in the land,entertaining the Aristocracy from many countries.
Mary Greville the daughter of Lord Arthur Somerset who married Algernon Greville,this line of the Greville family is the blood line of the Plantagenets.
In the early 20th century another Greville daughter Cecil Violet Enid Greville,daughter of Brooke Southwell Greville,Kings Messenger became an active and very desirable socialite,entertaining many important persons.
At 6ft 4in Cecil Violet Greville was head and shoulders above many and her son Peter Fulke Grevilles son,Christopher Fulke Greville is at present writing a book about these fabulous Greville Hostesses.
The writings will also include many of the female branches of the Grevilles and their many cousins such as the Harcourts of Ankerwycke,Lucans,Verney and Vernon Harcourts.
