What did Sir Guyon and Redcrosse knight notice that made them want to stop charging at each other. Does the Palmer have a magical sense of temperance around him that allows the two knights to use their reason to control and guide their emotions? Or because Redcrosse knight represents holiness does Sir Guyon realize this at the last second and decide to stop running? Their is clearly no right or wrong answer just wanted to get some opinions.
