My son recieved a medical discharge. He was stationed at Ft. Bragg while serving. I have to say and want to make some noise about how he was treated while enlisted. The way he was treated was no less than shameful. These soilders should be treated with dignity and respect. After he completed basic he was treated the same as if he was still in basic. My daughter was interested in joining the army and I am now discouraging her from doing so. We have three family members that served as officers in the service. My son was hoping to follow in their foot steps. My son informed me a few weeks agao someone in their platoon had stolen something and their sargent locked the whole platoon in in building for a week with no outside contact for a week. This should had been handled as a criminal situation by the military police. My son had a medical condition with his foot and instead of being able to recieve surgery, the army decided to medically discharge him.
