The Church has always changed with the times, and there is no reason why a woman can't perform in the office of priest as well as a man.

I think the reason so many people are opposed to women priests is that it may cause them to have to think about their religion in a very different way. After all, you'd have to call a woman priest Mother, wouldn't you, and it isn't God the Mother, it's God the Father.
