There are two kinds of solar road studs—road studs with anchors and without anchors.

Solar road stud with an anchor is divided into two parts—the upper part and the bottom part. The upper part includes solar panel, LED and LED lampshade; the bottom part (anchor part) is connected to the upper part with only several screws.

At present, most solar road studs with anchors are of this structure. When this kind of studs is installed onto the ground with glues, the really fixed part is the bottom part, while the upper part is only fixed onto the group by several screws. The most happening problem for this kind of solar studs is the separation of the upper part and the bottom part.

When vehicles cross the solar studs, those screws are too small to resist the heavy impact. Therefore, their tops miss just after being pressed by vehicles several times.

Which pattern can be more stably installed, with or without anchor? The answer is Without Anchor. The anchorless solar stud is fixed on the road by the whole body, while the stud with an anchor is only fixed upon the ground with its upper part fixed by only some small screws.

Therefore, solar road stud is better without anchor.
