Yoga is not a religion; it doesn't ask the practitioner to believe in anything that is not supported by direct experience.

The practice of yoga can help enhance anyone's spiritual experience, no matter what religion they might practice. The ethical tenets of yoga philosophy do not conflict with the moral laws set forth by the world's major religions.
