Nurse Sharks live in groups or pods like Dolphins, communities of families that love and care for each other to the point they will always take in one of their own kind “No questions asked” just plain love for one another, intelligent creatures that have “NO RIGHTS” what-so-ever! All other animals have rights and in fact a fireman will stop traffic to bust a hole in the middle of the road to save a puppy stuck in a pipe, but the “National” Aquarium in Baltimore publicly kill all the sharks they want because nobody can legally say anything about it. One block away at the University they have healthy Nurse Sharks, but back at America’s Aquarium you can watch all three of their Nurse Sharks die. Ones’ got sores and its eyes are sunk into its head along with its lateral line. The only Nurse shark moving about had its eyes bugging out of its head to the point it looked like a cartoon character. The third was stuck behind a rock waggling its tail so much that the bottom of the tail was black. Waggling is what a shark does when it’s sick and dying. Go see for yourself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TODaFyIZFbk

They will just order more from Dynasty Marine in Marathon Florida where they claim to "live at peace with nature" according to Floridakeys.com. How can they claim to "live at peace with nature" when they are pumping sealife from America’s waters to be sent around the world to other countries smart enough to protect their own fish, corals and inverts? All done by a company that claims to want to protect Nurse Sharks from getting into inappropriate captivity, but yet sells sharks that get 14 feet to Pet Stores where they don’t care WHO they sell it to or how big it’s bowl will be. They claim they sell them “Legally and Responsibly”.There is nothing responsible about selling these sharks to goldfish people or the National Aquarium for that matter. http://dynastymarine.net/whatsnew.html

The “National” Aquarium in Baltimore supports this company by getting in pallets full of replacement fish and sharks as needed. Not to mention 1 - 4 international shipments A WEEK! Thousands of precious lives sent to other countries where they do who knows what to our American life. The National Aquarium should be the best America has to offer anywhere, setting an example of the highest standards possible, not the same death rate as a common pet store of 90% dead within a month like it’s been done for years.

It is our recommendation, the three nurse sharks be pulled from the National Joke and placed in the universities’ care. ONE… BLOCK… AWAY!

The National Aquarium should not support the selling of Americas’ Sharks to other lands by replacing their fish from wholesalers like dynasty.

WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH THIS INJUSTICE!!!

We need to let these companies know that it is UNACCEPTABLE and UN-AMERICAN to have an illusion claiming good when it’s nothing more than killing life for money.

PLEASE E-MAIL these companies as well as the tourist and aquarium industry and let them know...

THIS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE OR RIGHT! STOP THIS INJUSTICE NOW!
