Hi All, I know this is a "pottery" forum, but I hope this is appropriate to ask here, since "pottery" (wooden??) is involved.
I acquired a wooden bowl which appears to be Native American.
What confuses me is that the bottom of the bowl says "San Idelfso Pueblo Pottery" and below that is the name "Sal Loverde '54 (or '94", can't be sure of the date.
The bowl is 5 3/4" in diameter and 2" tall.
Since links aren't allowed in this post, you can ask me to send pics to you by private email.
Any information about this piece would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
Jim
PS - I posted this as a question, but it seems no one has visited that site in a year and a half.
