During sulphonation of linear alkyl benzene through 98% sulphuric acid .We get free acid & active material in ratio 0.5 to 2.5 %& 85%to 90% cosiquently i would like to know what type of testcan be done for checking its free acid & active matter and free oil and is there any way to increase the active matter in final product and to reduce the free oil percentage

2)what are the precautions one must take while purchasing LAB & H2SO4 FROM THE MARKET .AS WE KNOW TRADERS TRY TO MIX SOME THING IN THESE TO ITEMS WHICH LEAD TO FALL IN THE YIELD OF HE FINAL PRODUCT DUE TO WHICH SULPHONATION INDUSTRY IS FACING TROUGH PRESSURE AND A HUGE LOSS OF FINACE IN THERE BOOKS?
