Rogers Park is a great, culturally diverse neighborhood in Chicago with relatively affordable housing. Also, despite its distance from the city center, there is easy access to to the loop via the Red Line or Clark bus. Here's what I'm wondering, though: Where is the 'hub' of Rogers Park? Is there a 'center' of Rogers Park such that, if you were to live near that center, you could walk to stores, restaurants, etc...? Or is is more residential in nature and less 'walkable'?
I have similar questions about Ravenswood, another great residential neighborhood. I don't know if anyone will actually read this post, but if you do and you have any thoughts, I would love to read them. Thanks in advance!
