I have been told that all the records from Wuppertal South Africa were sent to Germany. Nobody at the Missions Station in Wuppertal can give me an indication of where. I do know that Wuppertal was a Rhenish Mission Station but later became a Moravian Mission Station. The records I am looking for were all Rhenish. I am researching Gustave Adolf Schmolke for 10 years now, I have his 'story' since his arrival in South Africa, but I am wanting his marraige records and the birth records of his children.
I am now desperate to be pointed in the right direction.

I am sorry, but when I set up I did not request notification for responses to my question, silly, but now corrected. I would be very happy to correspond with you as I am desperate to establish where these documents are. My email address is sandra@darlinghouse.co.za - thank you and regards
