Recently, I attended a Kriya Yoga Course and was told that they would appreciate an X amount of donation from individual. and if one if not able to pay tt amount, it is OK, but the preferred amount is X amount.

I understand that donations are necessary to have the resources to spread the words... but why have a price tag?

I understand that there are many things that need money such as rental of premise, air ticket for trainers, food, material cost etc etc etc etc... but when a price tag is put, doesn't it be the whole thing look like a business, a trade, an exchange?

No genuine Kriya teacher charges any fees or any amount.
pl learn from original Kriya masters Lineage only that is through Sri Lahiri,Sri Yuktheshwar or Sri Paramahansa Yoganandha lkineage gurus only.
I am in Kriya gbroup of Sri Lahiri and Sriparamahansa Yoga Ananda Lineage Gurus societies and we never charged and we have been training Kriya Yogis and initiating hundres thro Gurus Swamiji order!
so never learn any Yoga when they demand or suggest donation also !
Thx
