Hello. my partner and I are looking at Taos for this next phase of our lives. No we are not retiring.
We are both 50 and he brings his job with him if he so chooses. I will work at anything including my own business if apprpriate (one I that I ran successfully for 4 years in AZ).
We are looking at living outside of Taos as that looks more affordable.
We both originate from the SW and have explored Taos several times.
I tell you these things because I see posts elsewhere that don't look exactly encouraging to someone thinking about relocating to Taos. We have looked at information and been there.
So, what's the skinny? We just want a quiet life in a place we consider special.
Yes / No and why you would or would not recommend it please.
