Being a native hawaiian...it is my pet peeve when a journalist or anyone from the media cannot pronounce the City of O'ahu.

Mark Steines & Mary Hart please pay attention. The correct pronounciation of Honolulu. It's pronounced exactly the way it's spelled. HO-NO-LU-LU!!!! No where is it written or pronouced as HA-NA-LU-LU!!!!

Mark, you did a segment on Hawaii 5-0 and that's where I hear you and Mary mispronounce Honolulu. Please pronounce it right. We've been a state since 1959 and I dont understand how Honolulu can be mispronounced as Hanalulu.
