Please can anyone tell me if Rauwolfia(Snake root) grows in the tropical forests of The Philippines.

If so, what regions does it grow.

Can anyone please send me photos of Rauwolfia that grows naturally.

Can Rauwolfia be farmed.

I wish to know if my family can pick the root in Western Samar
The Visayas.

Also is Rauwolfia safe for children aswell as adults to chew & swallow on a daily basis.

What is the ammount required to take orally to act as a antedote.

How is the root prepared before human consumption.

This is because there are several species of venomous snakes, including The King Cobra in the province of Samar.

There are many fatalities due to snake bites, and the non exsistance of Snake Serum in Provincial Barangays.

Poverty stricken Filipinos cannot afford any serum let alone refrigeration to store it.

I would be grateful of any validated information to help.
