Lots of ideas are being developed for improving Peckham Rye station. It was listed last year finally and the challenge is to find ways to make it more accessible to everyone and upgrade its facilities while retaining the historic features. As the main gateway to Peckham, it is also the centre piece of exciting ideas to transform the heart of Peckham town centre. These ideas have been developed over several years by local community groups Rye Lane & Station Action Group, the Peckham Society, Peckham Vision, Bellenden Residents' Group and Southwark Rail Users Group. All working together linked by active local residents.
