Just a thought about the phenominon of thousands of people recently gathering together (with the help of the internet - which the President of Egypt tried to shut down) without killing each other, or the police or military killing them, very litle violence, no looting, no riotous behavior....what a truly remarkable thing for us to witness...I hardly elive that it could be done here in the USA, let alone Egypt. Way to go people of Egypt!! I am from Kentucky and I am not even sure we could pull that off here...where everyone gets along all the time...no one ever argues or fights and everything is peaceful. Sarcasm runs fairly strong here also.
One main thing about the peaceful protest over there is that I haven't heard what part of this occurance did music play...if it was prevelent through-out the demonstration, and of course, was their any rock-n-roll involved...I am sure they have it there, don't they? Or at least some kind of relative simularities to rock? folk? blues? I am intrigued by the idea....
