The bridge over the river at Portlandville in the town of Milford NY is too low for the Otsego county sheriffs patrol boat to get under. Well lets put it another way, the sheriff put a mast on the boat which makes it too tall to get under the bridge.Now all of the river north of the bridge is not patroled anymore.That was a pretty dumb move by the sheriff don't you think? Well old sheriff "D" doesn't give a rats ass about any emergency,boating violation or your property thats north of the bridge.
