One source, http://www.discogs.com/artist/Kitty+Kallen, states that Kitty Kallen's real name is Genevieve Agostinello. Wikipedia mentions Ms. Angostinello as an "imposter." I was a big Kitty Kallen fan and never heard of this individual. What is the story? And, if Kitty Kallen's name at birth was something else, what was it? It would hardly be Italian inasmuch as Kallen's ancestry appears to be Jewish and Irish. I'd appreciate if someone who knows could set the record straight. Thanks.
