Of course there might have been one crew on 24 hour
Search & Rescue, quick standby. Fully sober.

Else, Sometimes we'd go to a local pub that Ms. Pearl ran and have a drink or three until then, UK pub closing time in mid-afternoon.

The three pub lavatories were outg the back behind the puib.
- One afternoon, very late, I awoke to find myself in uniform, on the floor of one lav with my arms draped around the base of the lavatory. - Not a great position.

Left. Found my car in the empty carpark and drove VERY carefully back to RAF St. Mawgan.
