Hello,

Our team is using NetBeans as our main IDE for both J2SE and J2EE projects. We are attempting to set up Mercurial as more of a central repository, where we can share updates to different applications. Since we are all using NetBeans, we thought we could archive our development artifacts at the NetBeans project level, such that the project properties for source, libraries, test are all part of the published configuration. We are noting some platform file naming issues because some developers use Netbeans on Windows workstations and some on Linux.

Is there a way to more effectively use version control for NetBeans projects with Mercurial? We also want to run all our commands for versioning within the IDE, and it seems that some commands require command-line interaction.

Thanks for any insight you can provide!
Michele
