I know Gipton has the nickname of 'Corned beef Island'
after a corned beef robbery in the area during 'World War 2'.

I am wanting to write a short story or screenplay about this incident and would appreciate any information on where in Gipton this happened and the date and even about whom was involved; The robbers and the victims.
