My rabbit had four babies almost a year ago, two girls and two boys. We have had to separate the boys due to "fighting to the death" but the girls are still together and very close. One of the girls is now super protective over the other and launches at us when we pet her sister. Why is this? Does she think her sister is her baby? We have had seven rabbits over the last few years and have seen a lot of things, but not this. We are very curious to find out the cause our rabbit's protective behaviors.
