My pastor has ask me to become a Deaconess. What are the qualifications and duties of a Deaconess. I am a christian and a baptist. Is there a book or web-site where I can get some information?

Joan. I was going to tell you that no deacon for baptist Church yet for women. My work is hoping to get to Rome for Ordination of St John Paul 11. I hope to brign phenomenology to this deaconate, too, as none in tribunal at Paterson needs anyone to tell them what canon is in a Daecon attorney anulment and enough proof for Vatican to Ordain.
